Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, adaptable Field Engineer to join our MAC division for an active project near Fairbanks, Alaska. This is an on-site, contract position operating on a steady 3-week-on, 3-week-off camp rotation.
In this role, you will be the vital, everyday link between MAC project management, procurement, and physical underground construction. You will split your time between managing data and being directly underground, executing rigorous quality control, troubleshooting engineering challenges in real time, and keeping contractor commitments on track.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Practical field engineering experience, specifically within underground mining operations or heavy civil contracting environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Excel for data analysis and reporting; strong ability to interpret civil and mining drawings.
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license. Active MSHA underground training is highly preferred.
