Duties
- Perform appliance repairs across various brands and models, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems.
- Interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Conduct electrical and refrigeration system troubleshooting to identify faults.
- Assemble, install, and test appliances in customers’ homes or commercial settings.
- Utilize a box truck to safely deliver appliances when required, ensuring timely service.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering questions professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and follow-up recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration units, and HVAC components.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or with box trucks is preferred for efficient transportation of appliances.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and troubleshoot equipment using electrical experience.
- Customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, assembly, and field service operations.
