Position Summary
JDM Materials is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Ready Mix Truck Driver (CDL Class B) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of ready-mix concrete to job sites while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining product quality
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Navigate local routes, job sites, and varying road conditions
- Operate equipment in off-road and challenging environments safely
- Perform basic truck inspections and maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B License (Tanker Endorsement preferred)
- Clean driving record
- Strong defensive driving skills
- Ability to follow instructions from management, dispatch, and customers
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English (Spanish is a plus)
- Knowledge of local roads and delivery areas preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs multiple times per day
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to work in varying weather and job site conditions
