Job Summary
We’re looking for a Commercial Loan Processor who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate has experience with a variety of commercial property types—including private, retail, owner-user, construction, hospitality, and investment properties—and is highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing commercial loan transactions from application through closing, working closely with clients, brokers, and lenders.
Responsibilities
- Order credit reports and collect/review supporting documentation
- Analyze applicants’ creditworthiness and recommend alternatives as needed
- Prepare accurate closing documents in compliance with regulations
- Ensure timely closings and funding
- Review and evaluate credit reports, appraisals, title reports, tax returns, and financial statements
- Create financing proposals based on underwriting approvals
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in commercial loan processing or a related role
- Strong understanding of commercial loan guidelines (private & conventional)
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Adobe, and DocuSign
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Comfortable working with balance sheets, ratios, and loan calculations
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Experience in banking or finance is a plus
