Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues. The Delivery Driver will operate box trucks and may be required to handle heavy lifting, moving, and loading/unloading of products.
***Looking to fill various positions: seeking full-tim, part-time, and weekend only drivers. All positions will involve some degree of weekend work***
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products efficiently using manual lifting techniques.
- Follow assigned delivery routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Experience operating box trucks and/or vans; knowledge of manual transmission is a plus.
- Customer service experience is essential for effective communication with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
