Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of window installers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to schedule work and clarify project specifications
- Perform precise measurements, framing, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry to prepare openings for window installation
- Install windows, and glass
- Conduct heavy lifting safely to move large window units and materials across construction sites
- Apply caulking, construction painting, and finishing techniques to ensure a seamless appearance and weather-tight seal
- Fabricate or modify components as needed using fabrication skills learned from manufacturing or remodeling experience
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications
- Idealy experience in construction site work with a focus on window or glass installation
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other relevant equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation tasks
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
