The Foreman in the Tower/Civils Department at JDH Contracting is responsible for overseeing civil/tower construction projects in the Mt. Sterling, KY region. This position ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with company and client standards. The Foreman will aid in planning efforts, supervise field operations, and coordinate closely with the Project Manager/ Superintendent, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day field operations and execution of tower and civil infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.
- Ensure safety and quality compliance across all project activities and enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure accuracy and safety.
- Mentor and support field crews in achieving performance goals.
Qualifications:
- 3 Years of Relevant Experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Strong background in civil construction and site development.
- Familiarity with project methodologies and tools.
- Committed to enforcing and upholding safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
