POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties)
- Drive and operate company vehicles, including commercial-size box trucks, to deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper handling and organization
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedule requirements
- Communicate with customers during deliveries to ensure a positive experience
- Ensure the cleanliness of the truck
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean or good driving record
- Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is preferred
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively
- Previous delivery driving experience is a plus
HIRING REQUIREMENTS & ONBOARDING
To begin, all applicants must complete:
- W-9 Form Mandatory!! Regardless if you make $600 or more.
- Background check $48.00 (Deducted from check)
- Drug test $44.00 (Deducted from check)
- Driving record (MVR) review
- DOT Physical (we can help schedule this)(BUT it's required!) $85.00 (Upfront unless you have it!) (May be deducted from check)
Onboarding typically takes at least 1 week, depending on how quickly requirements are completed.
MEET-UP LOCATION & MORNING ROUTINE (Daily Start Time)
All drivers meet at the Fidelitone warehouse in Charlotte, NC at 5:00 AM.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN (Tuesday–Saturday)
TUESDAY (Overnight Route)
- Arrive at Fidelitone around 5:00 AM and load the truck
- Drive to the coastal delivery area (usually Wilmington)
- Complete Tuesday route
- Overnight hotel stay
WEDNESDAY (Return To Warehouse)
- Wake up and check out of the hotel
- Complete Wednesday route in the same region
- Return to the Fidelitone warehouse in Charlotte, NC Wednesday evening
THURSDAY (Overnight Route)
- Repeat Tuesday schedule
- Load at Fidelitone, head to the coast
- Complete Thursday’s route
- Overnight hotel stay
FRIDAY (Return To Warehouse)
- Wake up and check out of the hotel
- Complete Friday route
- Return to the Fidelitone warehouse in Charlotte, NC Friday evening
SATURDAY (Single-Day Route)
- Saturday is a single-day route
- Return to the Fidelitone warehouse in Charlotte, NC the same day (no hotel stay)
OPTIONAL MONDAY WORK (If Available)
Monday is optional when available.
- Single-day route (no hotel)
- Often runs in the Aberdeen, Raleigh, Greensboro, and Fayetteville area
