Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation by following strict food safety sanitizing procedures throughout the shift
- Assist customers at the counter by taking orders, answering questions about menu options, and ensuring excellent service
- Support menu planning efforts by suggesting daily specials or modifications based on ingredient availability
- Handle food production tasks such as food handling, portioning, and assembling meals for high-volume service
- Ensure compliance with food safety management protocols and proper food handling practices at all times
- Food preparation for the following day
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a food service environment is highly desirable
- Proven skills in food preparation techniques
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and sanitizing practices to prevent contamination
- Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to thrive in high-volume production settings while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
