We run primarily as a liquor store, complemented by a distinctive gift shop, and offer a range of products inlcuding beer, wine, soda, and snacks. Our enterprise emcompasses three integrated divisions: a retail store, a redemption center, and a wholesale liquor delivery service. We maintain operations every day of the year, including all holidays. We take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and being one of the few remaining locally and family owned and operated establishments in the area.

Qualifications
- Must have previous management experience
- First and foremost, you must be commited to training and be a leader, in creating an atmosphere of legendary customer service
- Leadership skills are essential for you to have the ability to train, develop, and supervise staff
- Connect with the community to establish positive relationships, development, and store sucess
- You will be working in a fast-paced environment, energy and efficiency will be important
- We will provide a company vehicle as having reliable transportation is important and you must possess a valid driver's license
- You must have open availability, be able to cover shifts if no other fill-in options are available, and return to the store during off hours should there be an emergencry
What We're Looking For
A reliable, positive team member with retail or retaurant management experience to lead, coach and inspire a team of 8 store clerks to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Below are the general duties of a Manager at JD's Package Store, this is not all inclusive.
- Can complete the daily administrative responsibilities in accordance with company procedures
- Create daily staff schedules in include your staff's placement and daily tasks along with each of their daily scheduled breaks
- Completes and delegates shift duties to keep store conditions in accordance with company expectations
- Assist store clerks in following up on daily shift duties
- Manage orders, review orders, perform price changes
- Restock merchandise efficiently to ensure shelves remain full and visually appealing
- Track and control invenory levels and idenify low stock items for reorder or replenishment
- Orgnize stockrooms and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Set up promotional displays and seasonal merchandise presentations
- Rotate merchandise and remove damaged or expired products when necessary
- Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying shipment
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness inside and outside of the store, making sure everything stays organized and presentable
- Positive role model for your fellow employees
- Handle daily cash, reconciliations, keep accurate records and reports
- Resolves all customer concerns, complaints or requests in a timely manner
Taking pride in our operation, you will be responsible for maintaining the image of the store. You will represent us, greet customers, salespeople, delivery drivers, and merchandisers while maintaining a friendly and professional image.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to push and pull up to 35lbs
- Ability of work in cold environments for extended periods
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
