Duties
- Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items, focusing on grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques to ensure delicious, consistent results
- Follow standardized recipes meticulously to maintain quality and flavor integrity across all dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, fryers, and food preparation tools
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food production for large-scale events or catering services, ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or needed restocking
Requirements
- Proven experience in food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting, particularly in fine dining or high-volume environments

- Experience with dietary department protocols and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
