We are looking for a motivated Carpenter Assistant to support our fabrication team in building high-quality displays and experiential marketing projects.

Position Overview
The Carpenter Assistant will work closely with Lead Carpenters, Fabricators, and Production Managers to assist in the construction, preparation, and installation of custom displays and event structures. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop and event environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and fabrication team members with building custom displays, exhibits, scenic elements, and branded environments.
- Measure, cut, sand, and prepare wood, metal, acrylic, and other materials for fabrication.
- Under supervision, prepare and organize project materials by measuring, cutting, and laminating.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Help assemble, disassemble, and package displays for transportation.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support installation crews at event venues, trade shows, retail environments, and activation sites as needed.
- Inspect and review work at various stages of production to ensure it meets company standards for quality, safety, and durability.
- Assist with builds, repair, install items, such as cabinet, counter tops, shelving, moldings, and partition walls.
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, catches, drawers, pulls and slides.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures.
- Complete preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment; help with warehousing as needed.
- Previous experience in carpentry, fabrication, construction, scenery, exhibits, trade shows, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools safely
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, including occasional overtime, evenings, weekends, and travel when required .
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, climb, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, push, pull and safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in fluctuating temperatures.
- Ability to work under adverse situations and conditions (e.g., dirty, noisy, etc.).
- Ability to work safely at heights including the use of ladders, scaffolds, and other related equipment.
Salary : $25 - $28
