JD Rivet Roofing is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting both billing and accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, AIA billing, collections support, certified payroll reporting, and vendor maintenance, while also assisting with general office operations.
The ideal candidate will be organized, able to work independently, maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
Responsibilities:
· Accurately enter accounts payable invoices and allocate costs to appropriate general ledger and job accounts
· Process invoices and post general ledger entries in a timely manner
· Prepare and manage customer billing, including AIA billing and progress billing requirements
· Process daily bank deposits
· Assist with collections and follow up on outstanding customer balances professionally and timely
· Submit certified payroll reports to customers and through customer compliance platforms
· Maintain compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
· Maintain and update vendor records, including insurance certificates and tax documentation
· Reconcile corporate credit card statements and resolve discrepancies
· Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed
· Assist with administrative and office support tasks as needed
Qualifications:
· 3 years’ experience with accounts payable, billing, or accounting support functions preferred
· Experience with AIA billing, certified payroll reporting, collections, or construction industry accounting strongly preferred
· Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and general ledger functions
· Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and general computer systems
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset
· Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
· Experience using customer compliance or contractor management portals, such as LCPtracker, is a plus
Ability to work effectively within a small office support team, flexibility to handle changing priorities, and a high level of integrity are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
