Pressure Washing & Exterior Cleaning Technician – JD Pressure Washing
Location: Long Island, NY
Pay: $18–$23 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time / Seasonal
Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week during active seasons
Bonus: Performance-based bonuses available
Work Season
Pressure Washing Season: March 20 – October 15
Holiday Lighting Installation: October 15 – December 15
Holiday Lighting Removal: January 1 – February 15
About Us
JD Pressure Washing is a growing exterior cleaning company serving homeowners across Long Island. We specialize in house washing, roof cleaning, gutter cleanouts, paver cleaning, and sand installation.
From October through December, we install professional holiday lighting for residential homes, and from January through mid-February we return to remove the lights. This provides extended seasonal work opportunities for our team.
We take pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service, and we are looking for someone with some pressure washing experience who wants to grow with a company that is continuing to expand.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential exterior cleaning services including:
- House washing (soft washing)
- Roof cleaning
- Gutter cleanouts
- Paver cleaning and sanding
- Safely operate pressure washing and soft wash equipment
- Load and organize equipment on trucks and trailers
- Maintain equipment and keep tools clean and organized
- Communicate professionally with homeowners on job sites
- Follow company safety procedures and service standards
- Assist with holiday light installation (Oct–Dec) and removal (Jan–Feb)
Requirements
- Previous power washing experience preferred (at least one season is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license is required (Clean Driving Record)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable working on ladders and roofs
- Experience with small engines or equipment maintenance is a plus
Typical Workday
- Meet in the morning to load trucks and equipment
- Travel to residential job sites across Long Island
- Perform exterior cleaning services such as house washing, roof cleaning, and paver cleaning
- Maintain equipment and keep trucks organized
- Complete jobs efficiently while providing great service to homeowners
