Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable protection for structures. Duties

• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and other hand tools.
• Perform structural painting tasks on walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Conduct surface repairs such as caulking, plastering, drywall finishing, and fixture installation to ensure smooth finishes before painting.
• Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols including respiratory protection.
• Assist with surface preparation for renovation or restoration projects by sanding, scraping, or removing old coatings as needed.
• Operate power tools such as hand tools and spray equipment efficiently while maintaining safety standards on construction sites.
• Support site cleanup and material organization to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with team members including carpenters and handyman specialists on remodeling or maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction painting or related fields such as renovation or restoration work.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs.
• Familiarity with color theory to achieve desired visual effects accurately.
• Skilled in residential painting techniques including brush painting and roller application; experience with commercial or industrial coating is desirable.
• Proficiency with surface preparation methods including caulking, plastering, masonry work, and stucco application.
• Experience operating spray equipment such as airless paint sprayers and conventional sprayers safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection protocols.
• Ability to use ladders safely for high-access areas; experience with scaffold setup is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities; familiarity with carpentry tasks like trim carpentry or fixture installation is helpful.
• Good physical condition with the ability to stand long periods, lift heavy materials safely, and perform physically demanding tasks on construction sites.
