This is your moment. This is JD. Are you in?Lead the operational delivery of maintenance activities, supervising technicians and contractors while ensuring compliance and service standards within the Kingsway DC building services function.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
- Allocate work to technicians and contractors.
- Monitor contractor and staff performance and quality.
- Carry out regular building and kit inspections.
- Ensure statutory inspections are completed.
- Support permit-to-work processes.
- Escalate building service issues appropriately.
- Maintain asset records and CAFM information.
- Support projects and minor works.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to coordinate building services activities and minimise operational disruption
- Participate in on-call rota, responding to out of hours incidents.
Key Skills
- Experience supervising maintenance operations.
- Strong understanding of building services.
- Good fault-finding ability.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance.
- Good communication skills.
- Organised and able to prioritise workload.
- Any experience in building maintenance preferable: Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, Joinery
- Experience in the use and storage of hand tools preferable
- Any specific accreditations?
- Full driving licence preferred but not essential
