About The Team
You’ll be joining the JD.com HR Shared Service Center (HR SSC) team, which values collaboration, ownership, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
We are looking for an HR SSC Specialist / Lead who will drive process standardization, delivery management, HR digital transformation, and cross-border vendor execution. In this role, you will play a critical part in transitioning HR delivery into an efficient, centralized shared service model while supporting business growth and enhancing employee experience globally.
What You'll Do
- Process Optimization & Standardization:
- Deeply analyze HR business needs to streamline and optimize core employee lifecycle processes (including social insurance/housing fund, onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and visa/mobility administration).
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive the transition from localized delivery to a centralized, efficient HR Shared Service model.
- Business Operations & Service Delivery:
- Oversee day-to-day SSC operations, ensuring high-quality execution of social insurance, benefits administration, billing/invoicing, and employee policy consultations.
- Partner closely with third-party service providers (vendors) to monitor service delivery, perform quality audits, and drive continuous service improvements.
- Data Analytics & Decision Support:
- Continuously monitor and analyze HR operational data (including statutory contributions, benefits utilization, and SLA metrics) to support strategic decision-making.
- Extract insights from core HR data to support business innovation, policy refinements, and HR strategy optimization.
- System Development & Digital Transformation:
- Partner with IT and HR tech teams to evaluate business requirements, propose system solutions, and drive the implementation of HR systems/modules.
- Monitor development milestones to ensure on-time feature launches, stay updated on industry best practices, and advance HR service digitization.
- Team Leadership & External Collaboration:
- Build, train, and develop a high-performing HR service team, fostering capability growth and operational excellence.
- Manage relationships with external authorities and institutions (e.g., embassies, immigration agencies) and coordinate with internal/external partners for smooth visa processing and mobility support.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services (SSC), or HR Business Partnering within a mid-to-large global enterprise.
- Process & Operations Expertise: Solid understanding of end-to-end HR employee lifecycle processes, statutory benefits/contributions (social insurance, housing fund, tax), and vendor management.
- Digital & Systems Mindset: Hands-on experience with HR system implementation, module customization, or workflow digitization (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, or custom HR portal systems).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability to track SLAs, conduct audits, interpret HR metrics, and leverage data to drive decisions.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Proven track record in managing third-party HR vendors, negotiating service terms, and handling government/agency relations (e.g., immigration/embassies).
- Tools & AI Capabilities: Proficiency with HR software, data visualization/Excel tools, and leverage of AI/automation tools to enhance personal and operational productivity.
- Languages & Communication: Fluent in English and Mandarin (or regional language depending on entity scope); strong intercultural communication and project management skills.
