JD & Co. is looking for a detail-oriented Custom Jewelry Order Processor with jewelry industry experience to join our team. This role coordinates custom jewelry orders and keeps clients informed throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
- Process custom jewelry orders accurately, including entering specifications and maintaining detailed records.
- Communicate with clients primarily by email, as well as by phone and text.
- Clarify order details, respond to questions, and provide updates on pricing, approvals, and production timelines.
- Coordinate with our CAD and production teams to ensure client requests are clearly understood.
- Track orders and follow up on outstanding information or approvals.
- Review order details for accuracy before moving jobs into production.
Requirements:
- Previous jewelry industry experience is required.
- Strong typing skills and accurate data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write clear, professional emails.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple orders in a busy environment.
- Comfortable using computers, email, and order-tracking software.
- Experience with custom jewelry orders, jewelry repairs, or CAD coordination is a plus.
