What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter/Laborer position at JD building and Remodeling llc?
This is an entry level carpentry position. You will be a general laborer with the tasks of moving materials and cleaning job sites. Must be able to lift heavy objects and move on your feet for 8 hrs. A day. When those tasks are completed you will work alongside the carpenters to learn the trade yourself. This is a great opportunity to learn the trade. We do custom residential building. Everything from the concrete foundation to the final trim work before the house is move in ready. Must have basic hand tools/ toolbelt and reliable transportation. Jobsites are anywhere within 1 hr. Drive from New Hartford. Usually more like 30 mins. Truck a plus. Pay based on experience.
