Full Time Dispatcher – Delivery Operations

JCW Services LLC is a locally Family Owned Logistics Contractor for the largest online retailer in the world, who is looking to expand our team. Our mission is to provide efficient and reliable transportation solutions to our clients.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and safety-focused Full-Time Weekend Dispatcher to support our delivery operations. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation activities, managing routes, and communicating with drivers and other team members. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!

The ideal candidate should have excellent multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. This is a physically demanding position that can also include delivering packages if needed and constant movement. This is not a desk position although you may sit at times.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor driver routes and delivery progress throughout the shift.
• Communicate with drivers by phone, text, or company systems to provide updates, instructions, and support.
• Assist with assigning drivers, vehicles, and route support as needed.
• Track and help resolve delivery delays, route issues, vehicle concerns, and driver questions.
• Maintain accurate records related to daily operations, route activity, driver communication, and incidents.
• Support dispatch leadership with daily operational needs and schedule adjustments.
• Help ensure routes are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and transportation-related requirements.
• Work closely with drivers, dispatch, and operations leadership to support team performance.
• Assist with package handling, station movement, or delivery-related tasks when needed.
• Remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented, and safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English for safety and communication purposes.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dispatch, logistics, delivery, transportation, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, managers, and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle multiple priorities at once.
• Comfortable using a phone, computer, GPS/navigation apps, and other electronic systems for tracking and communication.
• Strong attention to detail when documenting updates, attendance, route issues, and daily operational notes.
• Must be able to follow company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays as needed.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to operate and navigate a delivery van weighing 10,000 lbs. or less, if needed.
• Ability to move packages up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to support the team where needed.
