Key Responsibilities:
- Perform power flow and contingency analysis to support real-time and long-term operational planning.
- Conduct steady state analysis.
- Support generation scheduling activities to maintain system reliability.
- Assist in model validation, capital project evaluations, and compliance-related studies.
- Collaborate closely with internal operations teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and support on-call rotations.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in transmission engineering within an electric utility environment.
- Proficiency with PSLF, PowerWorld, or PSSE.
- Experience working with NERC standards.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, operations-focused engineering team.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
