Senior Financial Accountant

Our client, a financial services institution, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their corporate finance team. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and supports monthly financial reporting, general ledger management, and audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Support preparation of internal and external financial statements
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
• Assist with regulatory and statutory filings
• Liaise with external auditors and support annual audit process
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred not required
• 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Big 4 public accounting or financial reporting experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)
