Information Technology Project Manager

JCW Group is partnering with a leading insurance organization to support a critical enterprise integration initiative. They are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (Contractor) to join their team in Chicago or Houston on a 6–12 month contract.

In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale IT integration program, ensuring minimal business disruption while driving strategic alignment across systems, infrastructure, and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
• Oversee integration efforts spanning application migration, data migration, infrastructure, identity & access management, cybersecurity, and collaboration services
• Establish and run governance cadence, including steering committees and executive status reporting
• Act as primary liaison between IT and business teams, facilitating workshops and communicating risks and decisions to leadership
• Maintain a RAID log and drive risk mitigation and issue resolution strategies

Requirements:

• 8 years of IT Project/Program Management experience
• Proven experience leading M&A integrations or large-scale enterprise system integrations
• Background in insurance or financial services strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, data migration, and cybersecurity/compliance frameworks
• Proficiency with project tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira; Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or ITIL Foundation are a plus
