JCW Group is partnering with a leading insurance organization to support a critical enterprise integration initiative. They are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (Contractor) to join their team in Chicago or Houston on a 6–12 month contract.
In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale IT integration program, ensuring minimal business disruption while driving strategic alignment across systems, infrastructure, and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
- Oversee integration efforts spanning application migration, data migration, infrastructure, identity & access management, cybersecurity, and collaboration services
- Establish and run governance cadence, including steering committees and executive status reporting
- Act as primary liaison between IT and business teams, facilitating workshops and communicating risks and decisions to leadership
- Maintain a RAID log and drive risk mitigation and issue resolution strategies
Requirements:
- 8 years of IT Project/Program Management experience
- Proven experience leading M&A integrations or large-scale enterprise system integrations
- Background in insurance or financial services strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, data migration, and cybersecurity/compliance frameworks
- Proficiency with project tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira; Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies
- Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or ITIL Foundation are a plus
