What are the responsibilities and job description for the AVP/ VP Credit Underwriter - Construction position at JCW Group?

The ideal candidate will have a strong credit background with experience underwriting construction deals (new and existing). Responsibilities:
- Will spearhead underwriting and credit risk analyses to support construction loan requests.
- Work closely with Lending Officers, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
- Review comprehensive credit risks and mitigations in succinct credit proposals for approval authorities.
- Be actively apart of Credit Committee and other relevant meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of credit related experience within commercial credit or lending.
- Experience underwriting construction deals is a must!
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using nCino and/ or Salesforce is a plus.
