Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks.
- Load and unload freight, construction debris, or hazardous materials following proper truck loading and unloading procedures
- Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips; report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with two years experience in dirt.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or truck loading and unloading roles
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient route driving
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation)
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission.
