Cargo Van Medical Courier – Independent Contractor (Portland / Beaverton)
We are a regional medical courier company seeking reliable on-demand drivers with cargo vans to deliver medical supplies.
This is a flexible, independent contractor (1099) position. Orders come in throughout the day and are dispatched to available drivers for time-sensitive deliveries to hospitals and surgery centers.
Drivers in this role typically earn $2,000–$5,500 per month, depending on availability, vehicle capacity, and delivery volume.
How It Works
Our dispatch team sends delivery requests as they become available. Drivers who are available during the day can accept runs and complete deliveries across the region.
- Typical availability: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Work volume varies day to day but is generally consistent over the course of the month.
Requirements
- Mini-van or cargo van required.
- Convertible hand truck (dolly) for deliveries.
- Vehicle must have sufficient cargo space to safely transport medical equipment, surgical instrument totes, and boxed hospital supplies.
- Clean, professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Smartphone with reliable GPS and data service.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
