What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Engineer/Programmer position at JCR Automation, Inc.?
-Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management to create control systems for special equipment
-Work with Controls Designer to produce schematics and specify components
-Program PLCs, HMIs, Servo Systems, and Vision systems
-Complete machine documentation using MS office
-Customer support and training
-Occasional on-site commissioning and or service
-Occasional CAD/design work
Qualifications
-Entry level-5 years experience, Associate Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
-Must have experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and servo controls, C-more and Allen Bradley HMIs, and industrial communication protocols
-Must have current state drivers license
-Experience with Yaskawa servo controls, Omron, Siemens, GE/Emerson PLCs/HMIs, Keyence Vision, Yahama, Yaskawa, UR Robots, Autocad and Draftsight a plus
-Must be United States citizen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
