Job Description
- Recruit, screen, hire, train, supervise, coach and discipline Program Directors at 9 Out of School Time (OST) locations with a K-6 component.
- Serve as point of contact for program patrons, partners and vendors.
- Monitor program expenses related to purchasing and staffing patterns to assure best use of financial resources.
- Analyze and adjust program operations to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Develop, assess and implement age-appropriate curriculum at individual program locations.
- Work cooperatively with management team to achieve continuity in program delivery.
Job Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Recreation or related field.
- Minimum 3 years work experience in formal licensed OST K-6 Setting.
- Must have strong communication skills, time management, organizational skills, knowledge of needs and interests of school age children and computer skills.
- Mature, honest, caring, responsible, trustworthy, ethical, good judgement and decision-making abilities.
- Genuine commitment to providing high quality services to children and their families.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Physical Education, Administration of Parks and Recreation, Early Childhood, Child Psychology, or relevant field.
- 3 years JCPRD experience preferred.
