Summary:
Jensen's Concrete Line Pumping was founded in 2001 to provide high-quality line pump equipment and operators for the Atlanta and North Georgia construction markets. Locally owned and operated, the Jensen’s team takes great pride in treating every job as a special opportunity. We are seeking to add a motivated Dispatcher to our growing team. This position will serve as the primary contact for customers and our Concrete Line Pump Operators. This position requires flexibility, strong customer service, clear communication, high attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing jobsite needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones and greet customers while maintaining professional and courteous customer contact.
- Assist customers with pricing, dispatch times and scheduling. Building strong relationships with clients to ensure they choose Jensen’s for their future needs.
- Schedule operators ensuring coverage for all upcoming pump jobs and communicate the schedule with all operators. Oversee the daily schedule throughout the week.
- Provide clear instructions to operators and ensure timely service while maintaining customer satisfaction and accurate record-keeping.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or problems that arise during delivery in a professional manner.
- Track crew logistics via GPS.
- Review and approve operator timesheets.
- Receive, code and organize job receipts from crew for accounting.
- Meet with shop manager weekly to review concrete pump repairs and ensure alignment on out-of-commission equipment.
- Process sales receipts and credit card payments for COD customers.
- Invoice regular customers through Pump Magic.
- Input new customers into levitate and send out customer surveys, thank you cards, and campaigns as needed.
- Assist managers in various ad hoc projects as requested.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
· Three years of dispatching experience in concrete, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, or a similar service industry.
· Customer service or call center experience.
· Familiarity with vehicle dispatch software, fleet management tools, GPS/GIS technology.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel for data entry and reporting purposes.
· Able to stay calm under pressure, multitask, and switch between phone calls and schedule management throughout the day
· Detail-oriented and dependable
· Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers by providing accurate, meaningful, courteous and timely responses to their questions or concerns.

Schedule:
- On Site (M-F) 40 hours/week
- On Call schedule as assigned for weekend and evenings
Pay:
$65,000-72,000 per year
