We design and manufacture industrial vacuums and tools for commercial and military aerospace clients.  Our products are used in the assembly and maintenance of aircraft and spacecraft worldwide. Check out some of our products at DustlessMadeSimple.com

Qualifications:

• At least three (3) years of experience in the preparation and writing of technical documents
• Experience writing manufacturing assembly and/or product manuals for electrical or mechanical products
• Mechanical or electrical engineering knowledge
• Good written communication and documentation skills
  
• Demonstratable portfolio of example documents that you have written
• Creative with can do attitude and love of technology
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
• Excellent interpersonal skills, have problem solving and creativity skills, honesty and integrity, an eagerness to learn and a high level of personal motivation, drive and energy.
• US work authorization (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Work with product managers and engineers to understand how to assemble, use and maintain our portfolio of products
• Create and maintain end user product instruction manuals
• Create and maintain technical documents, including Assembly Instructions and Work Travelers for in-house product assembly
• Gather information from sources including engineering drawings, product demonstrations, existing documentation
• Review and edit written materials by others and ensure document uniformity and consistency across our company
• Ensure that documents are complete, understandable, and accurately represent the appropriate visual presentation of data
• Continuously ensure that documents are updated, streamlined, maintained, and archived appropriately
• Maintain updated versions of documents across multiple repositories
• Ensure accurate version control and audit trail

Schedule:

• This is a full time IN HOUSE position.  Consultants or remote workers need not apply.
• Monday - Friday
• 8am - 5pm

Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
