What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geriatric Mental Health Evaluator position at JCL Services, LLC?
JOB SUMMARY:
Looking for a licensed independent provider (LMHC, LICSW) to complete one-time, comprehensive mental health evaluations for people entering into or residing in skilled nursing facilities.
Evaluations take place in hospitals and in skilled nursing facilities throughout Snohomish County. Also looking for help in Whatcom County.
Evaluation includes interview with person, review of limited medical records, writing up a comprehensive formatted report, diagnosis, and recommendations for services and supports.
This is an independent SUBCONTRACTOR opportunity, NOT employee. You must have a business license and carry your own liability insurance.
There is flexibility with scheduling the interviews, and you can write up the evaluation on your own schedule within the time expectations provided.
There is flexibility with how many evaluations you want to complete.
In addition to being a skilled clinician with expertise in geriatric/medical populations, you must have good writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into a cohesive report.
Compensation is paid as a flat rate per consult.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Geriatric Mental Health Specialist, OR background/knowledge related to geriatric mental health
- Background working in medical settings, experience with reading medical records.
- Background completing comprehensive mental health evaluations.

- Licensed to practice independently - LICSW, LMHC
- Your own business license
