What would you do This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership and direction for the fire service business in the local district office. Responsibilities include supervising fire service inspectors/technicians, developing business strategies, and implementing action plans to meet the districts objectives and drive profitable growth of the Fire Service business, including embracing the company programs, identification of life safety deficiencies and recommendations. In addition to supporting and overseeing inspections, the supervisor will be called upon to directly perform inspections themselves. This further highlights the dynamic nature of the position, which can involve a range of responsibilities beyond inspections and is subject to change without notice. How you will do it Revenue responsibility- Including implementing plans, programs and processes designed to meet and exceed corporate goals and objectives as well as maximizing market potential of the service business including new bookings (sales), revenue and profitability. Customer Satisfaction: Responsible for maintaining effective customer communications along with building solid customer relationships from initial contact through order acquisition, delivery, installation and service. Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled while quickly resolving customer complaints concerning service and collection issues thereby minimizing customer concerns and enhancing customer relations. Productivity Improvement: Ensure that fair and effective performance measurements are assigned and that employees are motivated to achieve and/or exceed their assigned goals and objectives utilizing management tools and practices. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all employees comply with corporate safety programs. Responsible to ensure that employee safety training is thorough, complete, and up to date. Identify safety issues and hazards and notify corporate safety office of those conditions that require corrective action. Perform scheduled inspections. What we look for Required Demonstrate supervisory/leadership abilities to include training, team building, presentation and negotiation skills, district administration and effective interaction with customers. 3 years of documented experience in the Fire Alarm industry performing service and repair to Fire Alarm systems. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends to meet customer requirements. Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices Available for local/regional travel, which may include nights and weekends to accommodate customer's schedule. Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as smart phones and laptop computers Obtain customer signature upon completed service call assignment. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly. Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements. Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test. Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes. Preferred NICET Level II certification HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29- 43.75 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
