Full-Time (30-35 hours/week) | On-site | Milpitas, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:45 AM-3:15 PM
(Potential to expand as the program grows.)
Pay: $23-$25/hour (based on experience)

Inclusive World is a community-based nonprofit supporting adults with developmental disabilities in building independence, confidence, vocational skills, and meaningful community connections.
Through practical skill-building and inclusive community experiences, we help adults develop the skills needed for greater independence and employment readiness.
About The Role
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and professional Head Program Instructor to help lead our daily vocational and life skills program for adults with developmental disabilities.
This is a hands-on leadership role working directly with participants in both classroom and community settings. You will teach structured lessons, support volunteer and vocational activities, help coordinate daily program operations, and mentor other instructors as needed.
As our program continues to grow, this position offers opportunities for increased leadership and responsibility.

Responsibilities
- Lead small-group classes in vocational, life skills, technology, and community living skills
- Support participants during volunteer placements and community-based instruction
- Drive the program van and safely transport students to community and volunteer sites
- Maintain a safe, positive, and professional learning environment
- Collect simple progress notes and documentation
- Assist with lesson preparation, curriculum, and classroom organization
- Help coordinate daily schedules, activities, and materials
- Model professionalism and provide guidance to instructors and volunteers
- Communicate effectively with staff, families, and community partners
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- ABA
- Special Education
- Adult Day Programs
- Vocational Training
- Supported Employment
- Behavioral Support
- Recreation Therapy
- Direct Support Professional (DSP)
- Teaching or Instruction
Requirements
- High school diploma required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a program van or transporting students in a vehicle to community activities
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to assist participants during community outings and volunteer activities
- Small groups where you build meaningful relationships
- Supportive, collaborative team
- Paid training and professional development
- Predictable weekday schedule
