Real Estate Title Specialist/Abstractor

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Marshalltown, IA, for a Real Estate Title Specialist/Abstractor. The specialist will be responsible for researching and analyzing property records, including abstracting and examining titles to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Key responsibilities include preparing title documents, reviewing relevant legal descriptions, and verifying chain of title information for real estate transactions. Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines will be crucial for success in this role.

• Experience in Title Abstracting and analysis of property records
• Familiarity with Medical Terminology and its application in healthcare-related land matters
• Knowledge of Health Information Management, Medical Records, and Medical Coding as they pertain to property documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately verify property ownership through legal documents
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in using title software and tools for searching and recording property information
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience in real estate or land services
• Knowledge of real estate and right-of-way regulations in Iowa and neighboring states is an asset
