Position Overview:
As a Socio-Therapist, you’ll play a critical role in supporting therapeutic youth and their families by creating individualized behavioral plans that promote healing, growth, and long-term stability. You will collaborate closely with clinical teams, caregivers, and community partners to ensure that every child receives the care, support, and resources they need to thrive.

  • Provide family planning counseling to youth ages 12 and engage foster parents in the discussion.
  • Use Family Finding methods to help connect youth with long-term supports and connections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (BSW preferred).
  • Prior experience working with adolescents and families in a social services setting.
  • Strong commitment to youth development, strength-based practice, and trauma-informed care.

  • Must be able to travel throughout NYC via public transportation or agency vehicle.

Why JCCA?

  • Join a mission-focused, supportive team that values diversity, inclusion, and professional development.
