Manager, Foundations and Corporate Partnerships

Position Summary

JCCA is seeking a dynamic Manager of Foundation & Corporate Sponsorships, who will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s fundraising strategy and impact.

This position partners closely with the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships (VPSP), to identify and secure funding opportunities, cultivate meaningful relationships with funders, and lead the development of compelling, high-quality grant submissions. The Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with program, finance, and development teams to support both new funding opportunities and the stewardship of existing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Writing & Strategy

• Lead the development, writing, editing, and submission of letters of inquiry (LOIs), grant proposals, reports, and other funding materials
• Ensure all submissions are compelling, accurate, and aligned with funder priorities

Funder Research & Pipeline Development

• Conduct proactive research to identify new funding opportunities across private, corporate, and family foundations
• Support the development of funding strategies in partnership with the VPSP

Portfolio Management & Relationship Stewardship

• Manage and grow a portfolio of foundation donors
• Cultivate, steward, and expand relationships with current, prospective, and lapsed funders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with program and finance teams to gather, validate, and synthesize data for proposals and reports
• Work with executive leadership and program staff to align funding priorities with organizational goals

Grant Management & Compliance

• Oversee grant tracking systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
• Monitor funded projects to ensure proper use of funds, alignment with grant requirements, and achievement of outcomes

Project Coordination

• Track deadlines, deliverables, and cross-functional inputs to ensure timely submission of all grant-related materials
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Coordinator of Foundations & Corporations, to streamline processes

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience managing the full grant lifecycle (prospecting through reporting)
• Proven success securing funding from private, corporate, and family foundations
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

• Experience with Salesforce or other fundraising/CRM systems
• Familiarity with the New York City philanthropic landscape
• Experience in child welfare, nonprofit, or human services organizations

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel throughout NYC and Westchester as needed

   

Salary: $80K
