The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the provision of services, assisting with the oversight of administrative processes, and clinical supervision of staff in a NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) Article 31 clinic setting. The clinical supervisor will also be providing psychotherapy to a limited caseload. This clinic provides assistance to children and adolescents ages 4-26. Services include evaluation and assessment, medication management, individual, family and group therapy, and more. This role offers a hybrid schedule, based on clinic need. Liberal paid time off policy and health insurance available after 30 days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff, fostering professional growth and high-quality service delivery.
- Supervise graduate-level student interns, offering guidance, mentorship, and structured learning opportunities.
- Support the daily clinical operations of the clinic, including referral management, intake assessments, service planning, evidence-based interventions, and discharge planning.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy in alignment with NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) and Office of Mental Health (OMH) regulations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all client, family, and collateral contacts.
- Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of clinic therapists; provide training and ongoing support to new team members.
- Serve as administrative backup for emergency calls and ensure office coverage as needed.
Attend and actively contribute to clinical case conferences, team meetings, and interdisciplinary discussions to support coordinated, high-quality care.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of individual, family, and group therapy modalities, including effective crisis intervention techniques.
- Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation that meets all state and city regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and teach core clinical skills to staff and trainees.
- Proven experience providing direct clinical services to children, adolescents, and families, as well as experience in staff and/or trainee supervision.
- 3–4 years of post-MSW clinical experience in behavioral health or related settings.
- Familiarity with NYS OMH Part 599 regulations and the operational requirements of Article 31 clinics.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly valued and preferred, but not required.

Active LCSW from New York State
Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000
