About Us
JCA is a veteran-owned landscaping and property maintenance company serving commercial and residential clients throughout the Jacksonville area. We are currently expanding and looking for a motivated Crew Lead who wants more than just a job.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, has leadership potential, and wants to grow alongside a company that is actively expanding its commercial client base.
As the company grows, additional responsibilities, opportunities, and compensation will become available for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with lawn maintenance operations
- Operate commercial landscaping equipment safely
- Mow, edge, trim, blow, hedge trim, and perform general property maintenance
- Assist with landscaping projects and irrigation repairs
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude with customers
- Ensure properties are serviced to company standards
- Help train and guide future crew members as the company expands
- Report equipment issues and jobsite concerns
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Experience operating commercial lawn equipment preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Leadership mindset and willingness to grow with the company
