Construction Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting various construction projects by performing physically demanding tasks and assisting skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to building and infrastructure development. Prior experience in construction is a plus but not required; training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed.

Duties

• Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
• Load, unload, and organize materials and tools needed for daily tasks
• Dig trenches, mix concrete, and perform other foundational tasks as directed
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely under supervision
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and adhering to safety protocols
• Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Skills

• Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor for extended periods
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
• Basic understanding of construction safety procedures
• Good communication skills and reliability
• Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with hand tools, ability to operate small machinery, or previous experience in construction or related fields
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements
