Position Summary
JC Peds is looking for a MA/LPN to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtains, verifies,and records health history of patients. Gather pertinent health data through physical assessments such as vital signs and biological samples. Collect specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Provides basic patient care as ordered. Administers medications and treatments as directed. Assist other health care professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures and treatments, and minor medical procedures. Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies
- Documents assessments, interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed and test results in medical records.
- Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
- Graduate from an approved LPN program.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
