What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at JC Office Consultants?
JC Office provides, planning, design and furnishings to Corporate offices, Education and healthcare. We represent over two hundred manufacturers of quality Office Furniture, Educational, Laboratory and Healthcare furniture. We are currently looking for energized professionals or recent College Graduates to penetrate various markets to identify buying influences and generate sales representing our diverse portfolio of products. Unlimited earning potential $$ Base Salary plus commission.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify opportunities and prospects: contact appropriate buying influences; follow-up on leads generated
- Penetrate identified vertical markets. Network with Architects and brokers to help grow market share with vendors represented and available resources.
- Create and maintain a business plan that identifies sales objectives with respect to product and services offered.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of product and service offerings. Stay knowledgeable and informed on industry related information
- Work Effectively with management, designers and support staff.
- Maintain knowledge and competency of product offerings and technologies to leverage sales efforts.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree or Proven Sales experience
- Proficiency and knowledge of technology, furniture, product specification and industry trends is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge and proficient in Microsoft office products
- Goal oriented and focus
- Ability to travel
