Anderson Auto Group is looking for an experienced Body Shop Manager at our Chevy Dealership, located in Kingman, AZ.

The Body Shop Manager will oversee all operations of the auto body repair shop, managing the body shop staff, workflow, customer relations, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
This is an opportunity to make a major impact on the success of the dealership while having the autonomy to set vision and direction of the department. It is a chance for the right person to capitalize in an “effort equals compensation” environment.
Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate technicians and support staff, assign tasks, schedule shifts, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
Operational Oversight: Manage daily shop operations, including repair schedules, workflow, inventory, parts ordering, and equipment maintenance to optimize efficiency.
Customer Service: Provide estimates, handle customer inquiries and complaints, maintain transparent communication, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Insurance Coordination: Liaise with insurance adjusters to facilitate claims, negotiate repair costs, and ensure timely approvals.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards; maintain a safe working environment.
Administrative Duties: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, maintain records, oversee billing, and implement shop policies and procedures.
Quality Control: Conduct spot checks on completed work, monitor technician productivity, and minimize repair comebacks.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Automotive Expertise: Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, equipment, and industry standards.
Leadership and Management: Ability to supervise a team, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment.
Problem-Solving: Address operational, staff , or customer issues efficiently.
Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication with staff, customers, and insurance representatives.
Organizational Skills: Manage schedules, inventory, and administrative tasks effectively.
Must enjoy and excel in a team environment
Must have an upbeat and positive outlook
Must be dedicated and reliable
Must have a clean driving record
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Position Type and Expected Work Hours:
This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires working evenings and weekends.
Body Shop hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Travel:
Travel may be required to attend meetings, training, or presentations. (Expected to be less than 25% of the time.)
