Commercial Plumber / Maintenance Technician

JC Mechanical LLC is a rapidly growing commercial facilities maintenance company serving businesses across Indiana. We are looking for a skilled, reliable Commercial Plumber / Maintenance Technician in the Indianapolis area who takes pride in quality work, solves problems independently, and provides excellent customer service.

This role involves a wide variety of repair and maintenance work in commercial environments including water and drain repair, drain cleaning, water heaters, pumps, and general building maintenance. Every day is different — ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and troubleshooting.

We are a new company experiencing fast growth with strong opportunities for advancement as we expand into additional trades and services.

Compensation & Perks

• $23–$27 per hour starting (based on experience and ability)

What You’ll Do

• Plumbing repairs and installations
• Drain cleaning
• General building maintenance
• Light electrical work and troubleshooting
• Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend solutions
• Communicate professionally with customers on site
• Maintain clean and organized work vehicle and job sites
• Complete work documentation using company-provided technology
• Participate in on-call rotation and optional emergency service calls

• Ability to perform commercial repair work independently
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Professional and personable with customers
• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Ability to use smartphones/tablets for work documentation
• Preferred: 2 years of plumbing experience

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (no recent suspensions or DUI/OWI history)
• Must pass background check prior to employment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work
• Must wear industry-standard work pants and safety boots
• Must be willing to work Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation
• Service area: Indiana

• Monday–Friday
• On-call rotation required
• Optional emergency calls available outside rotation for additional income
