Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and related heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform site prep, trenching, grading, and backfilling
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Follow site plans, grades, and specifications accurately
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Oversee crew activities, manage daily site operations, and ensure work is completed to standards and deadlines
Requirements
- Valid 1C and 2B hoisting licenses (required)
- Minimum [5] years of experience operating excavators or other heavy machinery
- Strong understanding of site safety and construction procedures
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans (preferred)
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Leadership experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
