Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil 3D CAD Technician to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining detailed civil engineering drawings and plans using advanced CAD software. Duties
- Develop and produce detailed civil engineering drawings and plans utilizing Civil 3D and AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and translate them into accurate CAD drawings.
- Create schematics, site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs with precision.
- Incorporate various design tools such as SketchUp, Revit, MicroStation, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and ArchiCAD as needed for project requirements.
- Prepare detailed schematics for construction and system design projects.
- Assist in the review of drawings for accuracy, compliance with standards, and project specifications.
- Support drafting efforts for mechanical design, interior design, graphic design, 2D animation, and other related disciplines when required.
- Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for easy retrieval and version control.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging CAD technologies to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards, schematics development, system design, construction documentation, and civil engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings related to mechanical design or interior projects is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in using CAD for construction planning or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Educational background in civil engineering technology or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. This position offers an engaging environment where technical expertise meets creative problem-solving in civil engineering projects.

Base Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
