JC BestCare is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee compliance, service quality, and continuous improvement across our HCBS programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring adherence to Iowa HCBS rules, Medicaid waiver requirements, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Iowa HCBS and Medicaid waiver regulations
- Conduct routine quality reviews of documentation, services, and staff practices
- Perform frequent on-site visits to residential and community-based service locations
- Identify compliance gaps and develop corrective action plans
- Support audit readiness and participate in state, MCO, and internal reviews
- Collaborate with leadership to improve service quality and operational consistency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or HCBS services
- Strong knowledge and understanding of HCBS rules and provider requirements
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently between service sites
