Job Description: The Accounting Associate handles the day-to-day administrative and financial tasks to support the accounting department that helps keep it running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- File, scan, and distribute daily mail
- File, scan, and organize accounting documents
- Prepare expense reports for processing
- Accounts Payable support
- Accounts Receivable support
- Payroll support
- Collaborate with internal departments to solve accounting-related questions
- Perform other accounting and clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word) and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail
- High organizational skills
- Time management and multitasking abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Work in a team environment
