Industry Sales Manager

We are looking for a team player, working closely with other Sales and Aftermarket supports as a team. Pro-active, skilled in searching for new customers and new businesses, customers orientated, with the ability to understand customer’s business. Independent, reliable, self starter, honest, diligent, excellent communicator.

Summarize briefly the major function and purpose of the position.

• Getting more business and meeting business targets in GIN market (India/Sri Lanka/Bangladesh/Nepal) in complete One FoodTech portfolio, dealing with multinational firms as well as with local players : new equipment’s sales
• Leverage market information, identify, implement business strategies, and make plans in line with corporate strategies to grow the targeted market segment
• Plan and implement key account strategies to strengthen business relationships with major current and high potential customers
• Should be adept at building strong relationship with other departments such as Project Management, Applications and Regional Customer Care /Service
• Updating weekly, reporting monthly sales and pipeline

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Primary work takes place in office and production floor environment (JBT offices and customer office and sites/production floor), in Food Processing plants and traveling (during transit and in hotels)
• To communicate with people all over the world it will occasionally require working during early mornings or late evenings in case telephone meeting need to be scheduled with people from various locations
• Food processing areas may be wet, slippery, noisy, warm, cold, odorous and require heavy lifting; all requiring appropriate personal protection devices, procedures and/or equipment.
• Travel 60% to 80% within GIN markets with occasional trips to Asia, US and Europe
  
  

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• To handle the sales of entire one FoodTech portfolio
• Develop a broader understanding of the local business, markets, products and competitors
• Foster strong relationship with existing customers and capitalize new business opportunities within the customer base
• Research, identify and penetrate into new business sectors and new customer base
  
  

E Manage JBT product growth strategy within “country”. Key products include Preservation systems, Pune MBU range, SF&DS, FJS,Avure and FTNON

• Penetrate into the territories with new business development,
• Ensure high customer satisfaction
• Identify, develop and execute sales and marketing programs
• Handles customer requests, contracts, returns, allowances and price negotiations
• Present ideas on how to maintain and grow local market share
• Have a good technical / business understanding of the complete product ranges and markets that JBT businesses participate
• Prepare and submit Weekly & monthly Forward Sales Forecast and Market Activities Reports
