The largest food processors within the fruit, vegetable, meat, poultry, seafood, and bakery industries are among our customers. The ASME Welder position is located on-site in Russellville, AR. The facility manufactures food processing equipment for the poultry industry.

Performs mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, hydraulic and pneumatic piping on complete line of food processing equipment. Works from mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, work instructions, and shop routings to perform tasks. Ability to operate power tools, fabrication equipment, overhead cranes and forklifts. Responsible for performing operational testing and ensures that equipment meets test specifications. Experience or aptitude in operating and testing Industrial Controls, Variable Frequency Drives, servo-motor controls, cameras and/or laser scanners a plus.
This position is located on-site in Russellville, AR in the Fabrication department assembling Chillers for the poultry division.

Scope Of Responsibility/Accountability
Interacts directly with Process Team Leaders, Production Supervisor, and Production Planners to meet production-scheduling requirements. Interacts with Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineers to implement cost reduction initiatives, and testing processes. Interacts with HSE coordinator to meet safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Work Environment
Time is spent in a manufacturing shop environment. Exposure to possible shop hazards including noise, heavy lifting, machinery, forklift and crane traffic. Could be exposed to diverse hot and cold climate conditions for extended periods.

Frequent standing, walking and climbing. Will be required to lift 50 lbs., push mobile carts and work from a ladder or platform.

Requirements
- JBT Marel operating procedures, safety procedures, ISO quality procedures, rigging training, MRP system training and will be required to advance skill set in other functional areas.
- Must have ability to understand and interpret mechanical blueprints, work instructions, written procedures, oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently to meet production schedules.
- Ability to utilize shop math fundamentals and problem-solving techniques to resolve fabrication issues.
- Must meet quality standards, production schedules and labor standards. Variance on labor standards impact cost and on-time delivery performance and result in installation and customer production downtime.
