The average day in the life of a DSI Applications Engineer:
- You will work directly with customers on site at their food production facility
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements while on site, assess customer production lines, and provide feedback for process improvement
- Locate necessary information and resources, explore options, identify a solution, and manipulate the portioning system software to meet the customer's needs
- Measure data, analyze trends, and communicate results.The applications engineer coordinates customer visits based on department priorities and strategic programs.

Requirements For The Role
- BS degree in Engineering, Food Science, Poultry Science, or Meat Science.
- 1 years of experience with technical concepts involving computers, software, and robotics principles.
- The ability to creatively translate customer requirements into practical applications.
- Must live or be willing to move to the following states: Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee
- You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position is fully remote, and we ask that you travel approximately 90% of the time
